Hi there helpful people.
Noticing that through time a number of people had set up accounts on my computer I decided to take control and make myself the only ADMINISTRATOR of my Dell Windows 7 Pro computer
I clicked around, thinking that what I was doing would help, but unfortunately I am now quite seriously locked out.
I cannot access nearly everything.....C:/Drive....Documents / but, I can send and receive emails....but I cannot open attachments and, many other things too..
Woolly as my thinking is...several years ago when Computers were more primitive I was part of a Community Project that sometimes made significant improvements via the BIOS which I took to be the likenable to the very emerging consciousness of the Computer before it clothed itself in an Operating System.
Might there be a way in which I can regain my status as Administrator.
I have, I must admit, posted this on more than one forum out of desperation.
Can anyone start me off again please ?
Sam
