Compatibility with MicroSoft Windows WORD Starter 2010 and Windows Excel Starter 2010

HELP ! Until yesterday 1 May 2021, I have been easily using both Word Starter and Excel Starter from 2010 in composing letters and spreadsheets as needed. I can easily edit spreadsheets on a daily basis and compose new letters using older file copies. Until Yesterday ! Somehow, Microsoft has frozen all my programs unless I update "my account" with a new purchase of Mocrosfot Office 365, which just loaded after na hour wait to startup.
