We have an older windows xp machine that we need to upgrade to a VM. After many attempts we can't seem to get past the vista part. The most recent issue is after the upgrade, all seems well till we restart it and get a error as per the following:File: vmstorfl.sysStatus: 0xc0000098Info: Windows failed to load because a required file is missing, or corrupt. I have attempted: Running: repairRunning: sfc /SCANNOW /OFFBOOTDIR=c:\ /OFFWINDIR=c:\windowsRunning: chkdsk /f /rWe are out of options, and a clean install isn't an option due to the nature of the software we are moving form A to B.
