Terminal Services and Windows Datacenter Server 2003

I would like to host an application (combination of TS and Citrix) on a
machine with 32 CPU's and 128GB of Physical RAM using Windows Data Center
2003., I know I have to use SPLA for TS Licensing, but now I'm being told I
cannot use Datacenter because it is for anonymous not authenticated access.
How than, do I scale to 32 processors and 128GB of RAM ?
Can I get some Datacenter Licensing clarity here please ?

Typically organizations don't use something this big because of the
scaling issues. What exactly are you trying to accomplish with this?
What happens if the single point of failure goes down? How many users
are you expecting to get on the system? 32 or 64 bit?

Jeff -

There will be two 32 way IBM 3950s in a cluster. Total named users = 4000
Total Concurrent Users = 1600
Would prefer to user 64 bit because our application is optimized for it.

TS is not cluster aware. I'm not sure on the licensing but that would
be a question to take to MS licensing or your software provider who
should be able to bring MS in.

Plus this is a VERY bad idea, to load that many users in a single box...
I am currently working on a 50,000 concurrent deployment and I can tell
you upfront this is NOT the way to go at all.
