U.S. military div switching to Mac..............

maya

well well, whaddayaknow...

http://vistasucks.wordpress.com/2007/12/26/us-army-were-switching-to-macs/

Wallington, a division chief in the Army's office of enterprise
information systems, says the military is quietly working to integrate
Macintosh computers into its systems to make them harder to hack.
That's because fewer attacks have been designed to infiltrate Mac
computers, and adding more Macs to the military's computer mix makes
it tougher to destabilize a group of military computers with a single
attack, Wallington says.

now you KNOW that if the U.S. military is considering switching to
macs M$ must be in trouble... this is truly music to my ears....
and I hope one day they get into SERIOUS trouble, financial and
otherwise (legal, for example), for the piece of crap they have
released to the world and made pass for a professionally-developed
OS.. which it definitely is NOT...

that's exactly right... you never know...... :)

if enough businesses start having serious problems with Vista
(although a lot of them pay for tech-support, so they may have a bit
less to deal with than ordinary folks..) maybe enough of them will
switch... enough to put M$ out of business.. this truly would be
grand, they really do deserve it....

You really haven't thought through your little rant have you?
If you nightmare of Microsoft going out of business came true - what do you
think would happen to the businesses on this planet and as a direct result
country and world economy?
Well if you immediate remove Microsoft so that the 95% of PCs and millions
upon millions of servers world wide are no longer supportable or patchable
etc etc then you force every major corporation on the planet to rip out a
truly massive amount of line of business and critical infrastructure. This
would have simply unfathomable impact to those business.
This is not like some geek home user switching from Windows to some Linux
distro - this would be wholesale destruction of the IT infrastructure for
pretty much every major company on the planet. Not to mention government
systems too.

So maybe you should climb off your soapbox and really think a little more
about this.

You should also note that "adding more Macs to the military's computer mix "
does not represent a wholesale switch away from Windows but is just adding
more other systems to the military mix. The year on year procurement of
additional PC and server devices is huge so adding in a few more Macs is no
big deal.

But will the Army deserve it too? If anything will bring Mac hackers into
view, this will.

Be careful what you wish for. It could come back to bite you on the butt..

US Army: We’re switching to Macs. VistaSucks.WordPress.Com

If MACS get to the user base of Windows then they will be full of swiss cheese holes from hackers also.

I presume Vistasucks site is owned and operated by guess who? By Mr. Maya
who is coming here to demonstrate his low IQ. He broke his teach on Vista
and now is demonstrating his anger and overall technology incompetence to
the whole world.

Vista shines! You are an IDIOT, Mr. Maya. Your ancestors were not very smart
people to begin with. You must have inherited quite a bit of their
stupidity.

You are an IDIOT Mr. Maya. Wake up. People around here are all excited about
Vista. You are marching intellectually to a different tune: your own
requiem.

You are an IDIOT, Mr. Maya, an accomplished idiot. I am an ordinary user

I know who have problems: low achievers like you who make their living by
pretending being contrarian.

MS' demise won't happen quickly. They'll sell off each department as
they go and they will slowly die off while Linux and other alternatives
take over. I have XP and Ubuntu on the same machine. I practically never
go over to the XP install now but when I first installed Ubuntu, I did.
Transition, Mike, the times they are a-changing and all that jazz.

Maybe that's why. Microsoft's bread and butter is ordinary users

Exactly right.

Those idiots never think of simple basics, as to what is going to happen to
the economy.

Their own standard of living depends to a large extent to the success of the
US economy and MS is a great part of it not to mention the world piece and
security.

MS is a jewel of US economy. We should be proud of it. Would you like to
have a company like MS located instead in Saudi Arabia or Mexico, or China?

Thos MS trolls are IDIOTS. They shi*t into the plate that feeds them, plain
and simple. They have no brains whatsoever.

A-Alias is a terrorist advocate. For him MS bashing has a goal but the rest
of those scumbags? What are they thinking about? Free software? It is a
joke! It is a BAD joke. It does not make any sense for the economy. It does
make no sense to anybody except for people who want to pretend that they are
capable to design a part of an OS. It may be a good training ground for some
so be it.

If a serious company decided to use Ubuntu and problems arise, where would
they go? To Mr. Al-Alias? Or this idiot-OP: Maya?

There must be some accountability for software. MS provide this security
platform, a continuity, a business model, continuous support, everything.

Mr. Maya, you are a fuk*king as*shole! You have nothing going for you. You
are a total idiot.
