For those of you who feel it's your duty to tell the world Vista is bad

D

Dave

I'll be the first to say Vista has it's flaws and I can respect anothers
view on why they may have issues and feel they need to steer people away
from it. After all this is a peer to peer user group.

Now don't get me wrong here, I am not saying not to post you all have as
much right to be here as I do and it's always a great idea to know anothers
point of view even if you do not agree.

BUT at least show the same respect for those who choose to put you on
ignore because we listened to your point of view, took what information we
deemed benificial (I must admit I have learned a few things) and have no
more need to hear you voice your disatisfaction or Save the world from Vista
agenda over and over again.

So the next time you change your email address or user name just so you can
get around a lousy message rule we set to block you. Think about what your
really saying to us and what we now hear from you.

Here's a hint "It aint pretty"

I agree. It a malicious, devious and negative way to get a message across and ends up turning more people off than on.

People are smart. They can recognize when somebody is being aggressive and over the top - even if they are not regulars to a particular forum / message group.

More people will listen if the delivery is changed... drastically.

So you are going to block: Alias, Frank, NoStop, On the Bridge, AlexB, the
wharf rat, DanS, myself and a few others? You won't have anything good to
read!

O

On the Bridge!

Some of us use multiple computers - installations - OS's, virtual machines..
newsreaders.
For example I am now on vista via windows mail...On vista I also have 3
other newsreaders, before I was on XP using OE, and later on I may be
posting
from another remote computer thats running linux with thunderbird via
VNC...I think I have about 20 different ways of accessing this newsgroup and
many I have set up differently over time. Some of us are just too geek.. I
experment constantly with various setups... and hey I get bored using the
same nick...

But there is another more important reason that I will first say here... Let
me explain.

When people in here express a different opinion than the typical vista boy
worshiper mentality
then automatically idiots like frank, alexb bill yanair, spankey de monkey,
and other trolls come bullying up
creating vast and long threads and generally messing up this newsgroup.

By occasionally changing nicks you avoid getting into long fights with these
negative people...
If you dont, hey suddenly decide that you are their worst enemy in the world
and gang up to try to bash you.
They morph themselves, leaving you no choice. Have you seen what Frank does?
He creates endless threads of hatred.
Or for example if you say something that Spanky de monkey doesnt like she
(yes we all know kevpan and spanky is doris)
goes along and posts stupid insulting stuff after each and every post you
have made for the last week!
Its incredible!

Its a system of protection against the trolls, nothing else.

I know you might not like the reason I gave you, but I can assure you that I
have no intention of bothering people
who are in here for help. Rather its an effort to avoid creating more
controversy.

On the Bridge!

I must agree, that its kind of fun.. LOL.. but on the other hand, there are
people seeking help in here.
This is not a circus!

Since SP1 has proved to me that Vista is worthy if my greatness, I have
decided to offer help to people
that come in here seeking for it. So if you have noticed I also provide
support to those people.

I dont see you or frank or spanky helping anyone... Why? If you love vista
so much why dont you help
the people in need? AlexB sometimes between hate-racist-nazi posts offers
some technical help,
... at least its an effort since he always gets everything wrong.. LOL

I don't love Vista like you think. I use Vista because it's part of my job.
Are there things in Vista that are a pain? Of course there are. I am not
making excuses for Microsoft for putting out a product that needed more time
in development, but try getting a team of programmers together, actually
many teams, writing millions of lines of code, trying to test for every
senerio, you just can't. At some point, you need to say, lets put this out
there and then fix the issues once they occur.

Do I wish Microsoft had taken more time to test? Of course I do, but I use
Vista and XP all day long. It pays the bills.

shut up and start helping people.... yes you can use google too...

let me see at least you posting 20% helpful posts for start...
Is 20 good posts among 100 insults and attacks too much for you?

I think its good, you still get to insult and attack people, that you enjoy
so much, but at the same time you invest some time in helping those who you
theoretically support.

If you dont, well you will just be proving again and again that you are a
troll

He's just showing off since his mommy taught him about copy and paste.

YOU. Frank, you're just too easy to fool. Then again, it's easy to do that
when interacting with the brain injured. That's part of what makes all this
so much fun. Just stick out a leg and Frank, the leghumper jumps right on.
You're just too easy to bait. ROFL.
