We just recently switched from a 10+ year old modem and router to a Xfinity box that has both in it. It was easy to set up but we have had multiple devices having issues with connecting. At first it was two Xbox ones and a Xbox series S asking for an activation code. I was able to work with the DNS and the MAC on two of those to get connected. One of the Xbox ones decided to connect without any change. Then my Asus laptop decided to do the same thing. Xfinity states everything looks good on their side.
