There has been news of Microsoft collaborating with two commercial vehicle behemoths, Cummins and Tata Motors. In 2017, Tata Motors partnered with Microsoft to enhance connected and personalized driving experiences using AI, machine learning, and IoT capabilities on the Azure cloud. However, nothing materialized from the Tata Motors partnership. In April 2024, Cummins reported that it is is working with Microsoft and over 40 industry partners on the Open Telematics Framework.As a Automotive Journalist, I wan to know what is Microsoft currently doing on the commercial vehicle technology front?
