Phone Link connection says offline despite remotely controlling screen and receiving notifications

Hi, I am in a strange situation where my Windows app reports the device as being "Offline", while still apparently working. How do I fix it? I recreated the connection in both the windows and android apps in an attempt to fix it to no avail.Both my devices are connected to the same wifi, they are also connected via Bluetooth and Synchronization is also enabled via mobile data when wifi is not avaiable.
