which antivirus

I realise that this question is a bit loaded given so many different opinions
but you guys know best. I have read some previous postings but they go back a
bit. Which antivirus (looking at bitdefender, NOD32, Karpensky... in their
current version) provides best performance, checking & speed? I now run AVG
8 & wish to change or should I? I have read many reviews & it seems that
Bitdefender is the one on top.

The two best are Kaspersky and NOD32.

NOD32 is lighter on resources.

BitDefender is not far behind the other two.

Thank you David - I've been out of action for a while & had not checked
responses. I think I will do NOD32.
