I have to reactivate about 3 times a week because I have a USB external
drive every time I plug it in Vista thinks I changed hardware and tells me I
need to reactivate. I finally gave up and and just plug it into my XP
computer and back up to it through my network. Slow process but at least I
don’t have to reactivate every time.
I think old Billy Boy is starting to go insane in his old age, he reminds
me of the lepricon from the luck charms commercial " their trying to get me
lucky charms"

I use a sandisk 4.0 GB micro cruiser that i plug in to two different Vista
machines and neither of them have ever asked me to reactivate and I have
made several modifications to them...

What kind of external drive is it? Perhaps we should look at the
manufacturers website to see if anyone else using that drive has complained.

Found out what it is....Its a USB hard drive and a USB memory stick, it keeps
thinking I'm up-grading my hardware....

If it keeps asking me to re-activate, I'll get a pirated exe file that
prevents activation.
I'd hate to do it but I can't keep phoning actvation centre.

Thanks for your help....
