Administrators AWS Posted March 3, 2013 Administrators Posted March 3, 2013 When you try to open a OneNote file from an Office365 team site while in Windows 8 (x64) and using OneNote 2010 the notebook will not synchronize. It gives error code 0xE4010640. I have verified this countless times now across multiple pc's. It will work perfect fine if you open the file using Windows 7 with OneNote 2010 as well as if you use Windows 8 and OneNote 2013. It only fails to synch with Windows 8 and OneNote 2010. I would have been fine with the Windows 8 / OneNote 2013 solution but Outlook 2013 has serious IMAP issues so I had to go back to Office 2010. If anyone has any solution to my Office 365 / OneNote 2010 / Windows 8 synchronization issue, it would be much appreciated. Thanks, Richard. View the full article Quote
