different colors flashing on the screen while starting

Different colors flashing on screen while starting and then the laptop turns off. From a video i reffered from youtube it shows to press down arrow key , D,W.F2 and on button simultaneously , by doing so it gets start. The same procedure has to be done every time in order to start the laptop. And D button is also not working. Please help me in resolving the problem. I am using DELL inspiron 15 laptop.
