Guest Augs154 Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 When trying to turn on Windows Defender, I receive the following message: Error 577: Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. I have a command prompt virus, and I'm not sure if it shut off Defender or if it was shut off accidentally. I have not installed new hardware/software in over 1 year. Continue reading... Quote
