Screen saver don't start with Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 5000

Hello,

 

I had purchased this keyboard long ago. I never had any problems while plugged into my previous computer, a Dell Inspiron, but after purchasing a Medion Akoya (Intel i5-3450, 8 GB RAM, Windows 8 64 bits), the screensaver stops working right after I connect this keyboard (the mouse got broken a couple years ago). Last year I fixed this problem by uninstalling all Cyberlink DVD software that was included with the computer and by updating Microsoft Keyboard Centre to its last version. But I had to do a formatting due to some virus and I forgot to back up the HID Non-User Input Data Filter driver, and right now the newest drivers that I have downloaded from Microsoft site are not working properly. I tried to install an old version of KB911895 but the system does not allow it, stating that there is a newer version of the driver already installed.

 

I love this keyboard. I wouldn't want to throw it to the bin due to a lack of a solution to this bug.
