Windows Activation and Product Key (Windows 8)

I have been doing all the research i can to find my product key which i believe i have found, because when running the command "slui.exe 3" to enter my product key it tells me my product key works and gives me the go to activate it. And when putting in my product key it starts to process it but right after it gives me the error code 0xC0000022 and says, "A process has requested access to an object, but has not been granted those access rights." I am confused as to why i am not granted "those rights" even though i am on my administrator account and i must be signed in as an administrator to enter a product key for Windows activation. Also, I am not sure but i from my research i believe "Software Protection" might have something to do with this and I can seem to figure out how to start it and it seems this may have ties as to why i cant activate my windows key. I am in need of serious help and am willing to take any advice that can solve this problem. Thank you all in advance.
