Installation hung on installing features and updates of embedded standard 8 IBW

Bear with me since this is first time to install embedded standard 8...

 

 

I downloaded Standard_8_64Bit_Bootable_IBW directly from ms website.

 

 

My idea is to install directly from CD to HDD/SSD. Things went smoothly till installing features and updates. It hung for a long time. Then, system shutdown herself.

 

 

Once reboot, screen freezes on Install evaluation copy with purple block Next. No mouse or keyboard works.

 

 

Can someone share some lights on this?
