Guest AlkaTopno Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 I have ASUS ROG G75VX been using it for 4-5 yrs it had win8 preinstalled then later I upgraded to win8.1 everything was ok until my PC got a virus and was causing trouble so I 'refreshed it' all win8.1 was gone my lappy came back to win8 I an now using win8 for quite a while but want to upgrade to win8.1 again maybe then win10 the problem is I am unable to download win8.1 from the store, I understand I have to get all the updates first... did that long list of updates except for one Security Update for Windows 8 for x64-based Systems (KB2871690) it fails every time stating Error Code800F0922 and still can't download win8.1 pro, says 'Something happened and the install of Windows 8.1 can't be completed'. is there any shortcut (like few important updates and good to go for win8.1... I did that the last time but can't remember which were those updates) Any help would be much appreciated Continue reading... Quote
