installation of .NET Framework 4.5.2

Hello There,

I am using windows 8 and processor is intel core i3.

I want to install mySql (latest version) database server. It says .NET Framework 4.5.2 is missing.

When I try to install .NET Framework 4.5.2, it takes forever and does not install. What could be the problem?

Please advice me.
