Locked out of laptop and keyboard/ease of access not working

Hello,

 

 

I have an acer aspire E 15.

 

 

When i turned it on today it said it needed to update so i let it restart. Not sure if thhis effected the problem or if my two year old got ahold of the keyboard when i wasn't looking.

 

 

Now im on my password screen however when i try to type in my password any key i press types in two characters and if i press delete it deletes both. So i tried to restart the computer several times and left it powered down for a while and that didnt change anything. I tried usig a usb keyboard and it isnt allowing me to type anything with it but it allows me to press things like caps lock and when i hit certain keys it will open screens such as the network screen. I tried to click the ease of access button and that isnt opening anything. I hit f2 when restarting the laptop but could navigate that screen because everytime i use the arrow keys it is also making it a double entry and throwing me all over the place.
