G'day again.

A few weeks back my laptop decided to go backwards and I still dont know why and I had to update all dowloads etc.

Now the laptop advises me to update to Windows 8.1

Will I need to update all programs that I already have or will 8.1 nat effect the laptop at all.I am very sceptical about updating,so the Community specalists can assist me....(I hate that 'expert',as EX is unknown quantity and spert is a drip under pressure)
