Scam- claiming he needed to help me because if I waited my ex wife could get my information

I logged into my laptop and an alert popped up stating, " call 1866-933-2019 for immediate assista" when speaking to the guy he gave me a web address: www.helpme.net\876223742

 

 

he got me to this site by holding the Microsoft key and the r key down.

 

 

 

he was able to tell me my ex wife's work email and my address and her address

 

 

any ideas on how to make my computer secure?

 

 

 

 

has this happened to anyone else?
