Installing / transferring existing Win 8.1 to a new drive

Good day,

I am looking into updating 2 pc's to NVMe drives in the near future. Will I have to re-activate both copies of Windows & MS Office (one has version 2013 & one has version 2016) again? On an older Windows 8 pc I had, I upgraded from a 10,000 RPM drive to a SATA SSD and I had to reactivate Windows through a painful process of getting some sort of code via the phone and inputting it into a Windows activation screen. I am trying to avoid this if at all possible. Yes, I will be completely uninstalling Windows & both versions of Office from the existing SATA SSD's before installing them on the NVMe drives.

I prefer a fresh install but if I can transfer my existing installation and programs over to the NVMe's and avoid the re-activation process with MS, I might go that route.

Any input is welcome. Thanks in advance.
