Got Cheated without product code

Hi. 4 years ago my dad bought me. A laptop and he took it to a local shop at putri wangsa @ johor bahru. I was 11 at that time(2014). Everything was good and fun till I heard about the windows 0 free upgrade during 2017. So, when i tried to upgrade by downloading Windows 10 upgrade setup from official website, it told me that i haven't activated my windows 8. I checked and saw that the product code wasn't shown at control panel but the os can be used normally. So, i used a 3rd party program to find my product code. It kinda found it and showed a code. When I tried using the product code, it wasn't working. It's been 2 years and i still cnt solve it.
