Guest xphoenix29x Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 I've done everything possible to fix the windows 8 store which is the only way I can get the 8.1 update otherwise , I cannot upgrade to windows 10. Did Microsoft shut down the window 8 store?IS the windows 8 store down? Did an update corrupt the store? I have no idea, but I've searched everywhere for a solution. If Microsoft has shut down the store they have left a lot of people in the dark who are still on windows 8 who need the windows 8.1 update and the only way we can get that update is from the windows 8 store. I cannot upgrade to windows 10 from windows 8 because it fails. I must have the windows 8.1 update in order to have windows 10 update. For those without the store why can't Microsoft make the 8.1 update available in windows update , or let us download the iso so we can create a backup? Continue reading... Quote
