Is it possible to use script / third party apps to view the contents of zipped folders, without downloading the contents?

Hi,

I need to be able to view the contents of a zipped folder, without downloading the contents of the zipped folder. In particular I need to know the name of files and the date the files were originally created / last used from when the Zip was first made.

The contents of the Zipped folder can be anything, but mostly Excel and Word. Less than 1% will be screenshots / pictures.

From ages of searching I've not been able to find a definitive / useful answer, only that it may be possible with some third party applications.

I've got the contents of folders that are not zipped already, using a script. But this doesn't work for Zipped content.

Is this possible?

Thanks.
