Can't find product/cd key for windows 8

I bought windows 8 wow 5-6 years ago? Physical cd not a download. I was emailed the product /cd key. For the life of me I can't find it. Not in my email and not in my order history thru Microsoft. How do I go about finding it? Any help is appreciated.
