Guest Alanrwood Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 Hi I purchased a Win 8 Pro license from Microsoft in 2012 which I have never used. I still have the receipt with the Win 8 license key. I took an ISO of it but only 64 bit version and the machine I want to install it on is 32 bit only. An ISO of Win 8 Pro 32 bit does not seem to be available anywhere reliable. Only Win 8.1 seems to be available for download. All genuine purchases of Win 8 Pro were entitled to update to Win 8.1 through Windows update. Unfortunately I can't install Win 8 as I don't have the ISO. Win 8.1 also now needs an updated Product key and the Win 8 one does not work. Does anyone have any idea where I can download the Win 8 (x86) ISO or how I can exchange my Win 8 licence for a Win 8.1 license or any other way out of this catch 22 situation. Continue reading...
