Guest KatlinEer Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 Never had any problems with my external hardrive (mass storage device). Was watching a movie that was on the device and it crashed. VlC media player also displayed error message. I closed all the programmes unhooked my USB and did a restart on my computer. Now my storage device shows up everywhere except under 'My pc', so I can't actually access any files on the storage devise. Also when I try to 'remove it safely' it says that I have programms open that are using it. Only thing that was using it was VLC media player and I uninstalled it, but it still gives the same error message. Tried uninstalling the storage device, but that did not work either.
