Unable to sign to windows 8 account....dark blue blank screen appears & nothing is displayed

I have a windows 8 pc & when i enter password for my account, there comes a dark blue blank screen & PC becomes unresponsive & remains in this state for several hours.

 

Although my password for my Microsoft account is, correct & it is opening on my phone. I tried to run Automatic System Repair but that also failed.

 

I tried to run sfc /scannow command but that also failed giving the message " windows resource protection could not start the repair service"

 

Even in safe mode, the problem is not resolved.

 

What happened, yesterday, I went to PC settings & switched the "High Contrast" mode....as i switched it on, my PC showed a "please wait..." screen & remained for several hours and i had to shutdown my PC and after that, i'm unable to login & after entering password, a blank window comes. I cannot use full pc options i.e. Control Panel, Personalize options etc. because the pc doesn't open & please help me if i can get some help either through boot set up, or command prompt as trouble shooter windows opens.

 

Please help me how can i use my pc as before ?
