i just got a new phone and i forgot previous password so i changed it on my phone . i go to my computer to acess my email and i seem to have issues

I tried to use my email on my new phone .I was told to enter my password which I forgot so I changed it on my phone .doing so I realized that I also needed to change it on my computer having trouble please help if need be my ill call you
