restored my Windows 8.1 to 8 and how to upgrade to 8.1?

I have a Windows 8 original computer upgraded at some point to 8.1 - restored off the manufacturer partition on hard disk - now how to get upgraded to 8.1 as the original path through store no longer works. If from ISO works will it let me upgrade keeping my files?
