Hi,

I have gone through many resources for DNS and its stuffs.

There are various stuffs in DNS like types of queries, records, zones, etc.

Moreover, there are more details related to adding and editing records and zones.

In real time scenario, I have seen as follows.

One component of Windows Server 2016 i.e. Active Directory Users and Computers is widely used in most organizations. Be it system administrator, network administrator or IT admin; who looks or manages Windows Server 2016 in an organization mostly use Active Directory Users and Computers.

Website access is mostly managed by a firewall and most of websites remain blocked in an organization using the firewall.

There is a vast difference between learning DNS stuffs on own lab setup on virtual machine and using DNS stuffs in an organization.

All such scenarios sometimes confuse as follows...

Where are the real time scenarios of various records, zones and related stuffs?

No doubt, DNS plays a vital role during Internet access but from the organization point of view where most of websites remain blocked using the firewall, where are DNS all stuffs used?

No doubt, for some members, my issues may be vague or wide but please be kind and advise me positively.

Regards
