Laptop using Windows 8 - 3 questions

Hi Sumit,

 

 

I have a company laptop which works on Windows 8. I have been told I can keep it after I retire since its company license has expired.

 

My questions:

 

1. How can i continue to use it without having administrator privileges?

 

2. I have started seeing a message that says: "Your Windows license is expiring". How do I address that?

 

3. Would you suggest I upgrade to Windows 10 and if so what does it cost? I do not want to lose a lot of documents and apps I have on the laptop.
