Big problem with Microsoft Spider and Free Cell. I dont use an app, start it from the Start Menu. Both games are locked. Please free them.

HI, I have Microsoft games which I play on my laptop. I don't use an app, I start it from the Start Menu. I generally play Spider and Free Cell. Since Microsoft installed some new program a couple of days ago it has let me play one game of each and both totally locked up at the end of the game. Can someone tell me how to unlock them or, much better still, can Microsoft please unlock them for me. I'm not very computer literate. But really miss not being able to play these games!!!
