Windows crashes - sometimes screen freezes/flickers sometimes blue screen

As of today, my Samsung ATIV Windows 8 laptop occasionally crashes. Sometimes it hangs with a flickering (like refresh rate is wrong) frozen screen. Sometimes a blue screen of death with error message DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL...

 

My windows is updated automatically daily (current version Windows 8, version 6.3, build 9600). I have not installed new software or drivers (that I am aware of)...

 

 

Any help would be very much appreciated.
