Guest SusanLeslie13 Posted July 11, 2020 Posted July 11, 2020 I am running Windows 7 with a virtual Windows XP. One of the software programs I use for work will no longer allow the use of Windows 7 so I am attempting to upgrade to Windows 8 Pro. Since the computer is older I wasn't sure if it could handle the upgrade to 10 so that is why I chose 8 instead. Anyway, the installation keeps getting hung up and I am unable to complete it. Could the difficulty be due to the virtual XP, do I need to uninstall it first? I want to make sure none of my programs or files are altered during the process. Continue reading... Quote
