Windows wont load correctly after update

I installed an update on my p.c on the 12th June 2020. My p.c is running windows 8. After the update I cannot get my p.c to load.

 

I get several error messages.

 

Error message 1: kmode exception not handled(intelppm.sys)

 

My pc then tries to do an automatic repair which doesnt work. i have selected advanced options to try to do a system recovery which will recover my drive to the factory condition.

 

How do I fix the error and not lose all of my files?
