Computer not working after user change

I'm using a windows 8 model on an LG laptop

After changing the user my computer;s internet explorer and chrome is not working. Shortcut keys aren't working either. PC also seems kinda slow.

So I changed back to the user I used before and it's alright again

Question: How do I change the user without these problems? Any solutions?
