Windows 8 freezes and rearranges desktop icons when i right click

My mother's computer runs Windows 8.

 

 

When you right click on any documents folder, computer files etc., the whole screen will freeze except the mouse icon, wait about 30 seconds to a minute, give a blue screen and refresh. When it is refreshed, all the desktop icons are rearranged into a messy, seemingly random order.

 

 

She claims that this problem existed ever since she bought it, back in 2014.

 

 

I tried cleaning malwares, changing the antivirus systems, about every desktop icon arrangement setting combination that exists, i tried checking intel hd graphics settings.

 

 

I looked at previous similar questions and they didn't help much, because the problems weren't very similar.

 

 

I'd appreciate any help.
