Portable hard drive with windows easy transfer to a new iMac

Hello

 

 

I have a portable hard drive. It contains files, mostly video and photos taken off an old windows run Dell. I used windows easy transfer to move the files.

 

 

No have a iMac, connected the portable drive, took about an hour to upload and then showed the file size of 168gb which is what the file size would be.

 

 

File then shows as windows easy transfer on the iMac.

 

 

Cant then access the file though or do anything with it, son cant access photos or drag them across etc.

 

 

If someone could assist in this I would appriciate it.
