Windows 8 locked me out of my computer and says password is incorrect

I made myself the adam of my laptop when all of the sudden, I can't log on to my own user. It keeps saying the password is wrong when it is current, I just don't get this bug. It makes no sense to lock me out of my own computer. Someone please explain how I can bypass thia or fix it or something
