Laptop restored. Dont remember the old password. Unable to log on to Windows 8

Hi,

I have restored old laptops using the OEM's software. The laptop was restored to the last back-up date in year 2016. I'd been using my hotmail account for Windows and right now I'm asked to provide that old password (2016) to log on. Can you help on this somehow? Is there a way to log on to Windows or a way to see my old Hotmail password(s) I used in 2016?
