Office 365 Printing in Windows 8.1

I have Office 365 installed on an Windows 8.1 laptop. If I use Office apps like WINWORD oder PowerPoint via browser, printing is working fine. But if I use it with my local installations of WORD, EXCEL, etc I cannot print. WORD is looping with "Connecting to printer". This happens with all installed printers. So please no recommendations like "please re-install actual printer drivers". Already done.

 

The funny thing is that I can print with "Windows Photo Viewer". All other locally installed apps cannot access the printer. Even with Adobe Reader it does not work.

 

As my preffered way of working is to work with WORD, EXCEL, etc. locally I need some guidance how to fix this problem.
