HID-Compliant touch screen is no longer in my device manager

I don't know what happened. It just started glitching like it kept pressing the top left corner of my screen, I restarted and BAM, touchscreen isn't working anymore. I've been trying every single solution I can see online, in support, in YouTube and I'm coming up with nothing. I'm desperate. Please help me.

The one thing I can't do on all the suggested solutions is to update my Windows. It keeps saying this:

BUT I'VE RESTARTED ABOUT FIFTEEN TIMES AT THIS POINT, plus, I've been trying to fix this for ALMOST A WEEK NOW PLEAAASE HELP ME :'(
