Is there a way to reset Sony Vaio desktop running on Windows 8?

Hi, both my parents own a laptop (bought around 2019) that they both use as their main device and I figured I could take their Vaio computer (bought around 2015) since it was still in good condition. They've backed up the data they had on it a while ago (around 2019) and I'm ready to reset it, but I'm finding that the f8 key doesn't work. It still runs on Windows 8. Additionally my parents have misplaced the password for it so I can't enter their file or make a new admin file. Is there any way to reset the computer without logging in? As bonus information- this desktop uses a wireless keyboard
