No sound in Metro apps, but it is elsewhere.

My issues is sound. It works great on the desktop. Steam/Origin Games, Firefox, Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic, etc., all have sound.

The system as a whole has sound too. For example I'll get the little tone when an app has finished, installing or when Windows logs on.

 

When I use a Metro style app like: Video, Music, Pinball FX 2, Solitaire Collection, MS Mahjong, Bubble Star ...no sound!

I uninstall the sound driver (Realtek 2.70 for Windows 8),reinstall it, does not work

I'm running Windows 8Enterpise eval for 90 days

Any thoughts on whats going?
