Taskbar Notification Background Apps, keep disappearing ?!?

Hello,

I have noticed that most of my background running apps, the ones with icons in the taskbar notification are (bottom right) keep closing/disappearing.

Things like my Asus Audio App, My Logitech G software, My AV etc.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

OS: Windows 8 Pro x64.

i5 2500k, 16gb RAM, 256gb SSD, 3tb HDD.
