Administrators AWS Posted December 25, 2012 Administrators Posted December 25, 2012 I installed Windows 8 on a Acer Extensa 5620Z, which ran perfectly well with Windows Vista. My first installation with Win 8 ran fine, but then Win 8 started to update itself and now it keeps stalling the computer, leaving vertical black stripes in the screen. The computer does not run for 10 minutes without stalling. Youtube videos will stall it instantly. When I remove the update, it starts working again. Memory and harddrive are obviously fine.
