Administrators AWS Posted January 20, 2013 Administrators Posted January 20, 2013 Hi, I have a brand new Lenovo Ideapad and have been having issues with Sleep. If I let the laptop go to sleep or hibernate it can't wake up again. Most of the time the screen just stays black and nothing happens so the only thing I can do is hold the power button to turn off and then back on. Sometimes the screen comes on but if I try to do anything I get a blue screen with the error DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE My minidump file is here <iframe src="https://skydrive.live.com/embed?cid=51E0B69C6DDAE70F&resid=51E0B69C6DDAE70F%21248&authkey=ADzEsOlzvG-jbKI" width="98" height="120" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe> I used the windows debugger on the minidump file and it said the following: Microsoft ® Windows Debugger Version 6.2.9200.20512 AMD64 Copyright © Microsoft Corporation.
